Budget airline Bonza is launching its new route between the Sunshine Coast and Launceston, with one-way fares from $89.
The airline is also celebrating its birthday by offering a limited number of even cheaper fares — as low as $49 — across its network.
There are just 200,000 seats on sale across all routes for the Bonza birthday sale, and the offer expires just before midnight on February 5.

New service between Queensland and Tasmania
The new service between Queensland and Tasmania will soon operate twice-weekly on Monday and Friday.
Flights on the new route will hit the skies from March 29.
It’s the airline’s 12th route from its home base at Sunshine Coast Airport and second route from Launceston Airport, Bonza said.
Bonza CEO Tim Jordan said on Friday: “We are delighted to connect the Sunny Coast and Launnie with direct low-cost air travel, allowing customers to save time and money.”
“This service is great news for travellers and for the local tourism and hospitality industries.”
